He is not usually exactly my style of critique, but I think he makes a good point. WHY have we taken the focus away from gun control?!! Thoughts?

Tallest Man on Earth

My best friend and I went to see Tallest Man on Earth at the Fillmore on Monday. I had only known a few of his songs and was not sure what to expect; I thought maybe he would have a backing band. But no, it was just him (Kristian Matsson AKA Tallest Man on Earth) – a one man show. And boy did he deliver!

The man has stage presence for days.

Also, lyrically he is creative in a natural way that can both keep your attention and break your heart at times. His voice is interesting and his real talent shows when he begins to wail. Bottom line: I adore him.

If you are new to Tallest Man on Earth, I recommend you check out “The Gardener,” “King of Spain,” “Like the Wheel,” and “Won’t Be Found.” And please please please try to see him live – you won’t regret it!

Hello all,

I just wanted to share a few photos from SF. Lex and I found these sweet murals/graffiti in SOMA on our way back from the Green Festival (where I saw Alice Walker!). I just so happened to have my camera, which has recovered remarkably well from the Costa Rica waterfall incident, and a sweet umbrella. I love my city.
